Steve Kerr praises Andrew Wiggins: Best game since he’s been back

Andrew Wiggins was the second-top scorer for the Warriors in Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals behind Steph Curry as he dropped 25 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. It was his highest scoring game since the middle of February.

The 28-year-old small forward contributed significantly to Golden State’s win which kept the defending NBA champions alive in the series against the Lakers.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr praised Wiggins after the game. “This was the best game Wiggs has played since he’s been back over, I guess, three weeks or so now,” he said. “Just the way he attacked, the way he got to the rim. That adds another dimension to our attack.

“I thought the last couple of games in LA we just didn’t get to the line a ton. We settled for a lot of stuff and I thought Wiggs did a good job of really being aggressive.”
