Miami built on its Elite Eight run from last season by earning the No. 1 seed in the ACC Tournament. The Hurricanes have four players averaging at least 13 points per game, led by junior guard Isaiah Wong (15.9). Drake dominated Bradley in the Missouri Valley Tournament title game, returning to the NCAA Tournament for the second time in three years. The Bulldogs are paced by sophomore Tucker DeVries, who was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year after averaging 18.9 points per game.
The third matchup to watch is also in the Midwest Regional, No. 7 seed Texas A&M against No. 10 seed Penn State. Both teams made it to their conference championship games, but ultimately fell short.
