Sports activities analyst Ric Bucher reported the Brooklyn Nets star guard Kyrie Irving had some requests for his subsequent contract after he selected to choose in for one 12 months at $36.9 million with the group this summer season, through New York Publish:

“[Nets owner] Joe Tsai has already proven he’s prepared to play hardball with Kyrie by taking a max extension off the desk nearly instantly,” Bucher mentioned. “Now, a part of which may be Kyrie’s doing. I’m instructed he needed his new contract to ensure he wouldn’t should play greater than 60 video games in a season and wouldn’t should play any back-to-backs, which he apparently known as inhumane.”

Kyrie Irving responded to a tweet quoting his so-called calls for with a GIF of a baseball doffing his hat, indicating that Bucher is “capping,” or “mendacity.”
