KD has played alongside some of the best modern-time greats in the league, winning two NBA championships. Yet, he chose none of them as the most nicest teammate ever. In a recent interview with Boardroom, Kevin Durant was asked a wide range of questions regarding his choices and preferences on various facets of basketball. KD revealed that he liked hitting a three over an opponent more than dunking on somebody. Moreover, Durant shared that he disliked defensive drills and loved shooting during practice. Further, Durant gave a shocking response to the question, “Who’s the nicest teammate you have ever had?”

The Nets forward replied, “Nazr Mohammed.” Durant named his former Oklahoma teammate Mohammed for the nicest teammate category. The 2005 NBA champ played with Durant twice during the 2011-12 season and later in 2016 at OKC.

Meanwhile, Russell Westbrook was Durant’s teammate from 2008-2016 at Oklahoma. The duo made it to the playoffs on five occasions and also made it to the Finals in 2011-12. But, unfortunately, KD and Westbrook faced disappointment during the Finals series.

Moreover, Durant moved on from Oklahoma in 2016 to join Stephen Curry at the Golden State Warriors. The 2014 MVP won two straight championships with Curry in 2017 and 2018. However, Durant shockingly left the Warriors in 2019 to team up with Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn. The Nets duo has been effective in leading Brooklyn to the playoffs in the last three seasons. However, they are yet to win a championship together.

But, despite having some of the highly talented stars as teammates over the years, Kevin Durant preferred Nazr Mohammed as the nicest teammate he has ever had.
