The Golden State Warriors came into the season as the favorites to defend their title once again. But their play has been underwhelming, to say the least, and many players have not lived up to their mark. However, that does not include Stephen Curry, who is having possibly the best season of his life at the age of 34. Curry is averaging 32.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 6.4 assists with absurd shooting percentages of 53% from the field, 44% from three-point range, and 92% from the free throw line.

With Curry balling out and the Warriors still struggling to win games, many have compared this squad to the 2018 Cleveland Cavaliers. The 2018 Cavs are considered among the worst teams to ever make it to the NBA Finals. LeBron James had a historic season and he willed the Cavs to the Finals with some incredible performances.

The problem has not just been the young players. The veterans have also performed poorly. Klay Thompson is having a sub-par season and Jordan Poole has been inconsistent. Draymond Green has dropped in his averages and Andrew Wiggins has had an average start. Only Curry has arguably been incredible so far and he has single-handedly kept them in some games.
