Retired NBA star Gilbert Arenas is continuing his fight in support of the embattled Ja Morant.
On Sunday, Arenas posted a lengthy Instagram rant calling out the media for swarming the Memphis Grizzlies star in his intensifying controversy around gun incident and reported overspending in a Colorado strip club.
The retired cager went on to praise Morant in different forms and called him a “PHILANTROPIST” for donating $50,000 in a local community.
Arenas already made initial efforts to dust off Morant’s wrongdoings on the previous week.
Morant remains inactive on he Grizzlies’ lineup with an indefinite timetable. He notably drew public flak and investigation from the NBA and Colorado authorities for flashing a gun in a night party earlier this month.
