Nikola Jokic is one of the most gifted big men the league has witnessed. Unlike the traditional centers, the Joker can handle, shoot, and even pass as efficiently as the most elite guards can.
Thanks to the Nuggets’ big man and his almost peerless game, modern basketball is becoming more positionless than ever. And the result of his unique style of play? Over an 8-year span, the Serbian has managed to rack up a pretty stellar resume that includes 4 All-Star appearances, 4 All-NBA selections, and 2 MVPs.
For those who follow or are avid Jokic fans, they would agree that he is one of the most eccentric personalities in the entire league. Why so? His unconditional love for horses is a huge example.

Back in 2017, Nikola’s horse won a ribbon back in Serbia.

Now, the man is a back-to-back MVP, a feat that only a selected few superstars have accomplished. However, the 27-year-old decided to prioritize Dreamcatcher’s achievements over his own.

That right there, is the most Nikola Jokic thing I’ve seen.

Jokic’s love for horses is unparallel
While other NBA stars might enjoy gaming, gambling, or music, Jokic absolutely loves his horses.
In fact, this past year, Denver’s 6-foot-11 center even accepted his 2nd MVP trophy at a stable in Serbia.
Some would even say that his passion for his horses is borderline creepy. And judging by this comment he made back in 2021, you’d understand why.
“I like the smell of them. The best feeling ever is when you feed them. The sound of them eating in the stable is the best sound you can ever hear. It’s just something that I think just a horseman can feel.”

Never change Nikola Jokic, never change.
