Phoenix Suns Star Devin Booker “continues progressing” but is set to miss another week after being re-evaluated in his four-week absence, the club announced Wednesday (h/t Arizona Republic’s Duane Rankin.
Booker has been out of the Suns’ team activities since Christmas Day, aggravating his groin issues in a loss against the Denver Nuggets wherein he was only active for just four minutes of action.
The All-Star hot shot has missed 15-straight games, handing the club a lowly 6-9 record upon his unavailability. After sliding by as low as the 12th-seed in the Western Conference, Phoenix gradually made progress with Cam Johnson and Chris Paul making their respective returns.
This season, Booker is averaging a career best 27.1 points to go with 5.6 assists and 4.6 boards.
