Nerlens Noel’s 10-day deal with the Brooklyn Nets has expired this Wednesday. But per Brian Lewis of the New York Post, the club isn’t planning to re-sign him for another temporary deal.
Noel arrived in Brooklyn last week after being waived by the Detroit Pistons this midseason. In three total games he played for the club, he averaged lowly numbers despite playing 14.3 minutes as a backup for Nic Claxton.
With Brooklyn set to part ways with Noel, they may look further for available bigs in the market who can fill their needs for a rotational play and reserve big for Claxton.
The Nets sits at the sixth-place of the Eastern Conference with a 39-30 record.
