The sluggish Portland Trail Blazers are hitting up hard their urgency button with season slowly advancing.

Per Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the club is “intensely engrossed” of making progress within their lineup ahead of the 2022-23 season’s trade deadline, with them listening to offers for a trade.

As such, added by Haynes, the Blazers don’t intend to tank this year and remains committed to surround franchise star Damian Lillard the help he needs to compete on a best way possible.

Amid establishing a solid start this seasons by having Lillard and a good supporting cast of Jerami Grant, Anferneee Simons and Josh Hart, Portland went sliding down on the ever competitive Western Conference. They are currently holding a 22-25 record and are suddenly dwelling with a lowly 13th-seed out of the West.

With less than a month away before the trade deadline passes, the Blazers are truly determined to elevate their status with competition increasing around the West and evade another wasted year around Lillard.
