In the latest exhibition match for Team USA, they secured a victory against Germany, marking the end of the preparatory phase of their schedule.
Following the game, the Los Angeles Lakers rising star Austin Reaves shared his thoughts on the experience of competing in Abu Dhabi, the location for Team USA’s last two exhibition matches.
“Being in a different country, I was surprised when a fan shouted my name,” Reaves said. “It was special to me and would never take that for granted. One day, I will look back at this moment with a smile.
“This is one of the most important games for us in preparation for the World Cup. We faced a talented team in Germany with them having many NBA players in the squad. This win felt good.”
