With all eyes firmly watching his potential retirement announcement following the Golden State Warriors’ second-round exit against the Los Angeles Lakers, Andre Iguodala dropped a cryptic word via Twitter on Saturday.

This tweet by Iguodala went on to gather mixed reactions from the Bay Area fans, with many expressing their love for him while other are still demanding the beloved veteran to run it back with Golden State

After he declared last September through his Point Forward podcast that he’ll suit up once again for the Warriors in the 2022-23 season, the 39-year-old Iguodala went on to note that this will serve as the last playing campaign of his career.

Iguodala didn’t have that ample playing exposure in the regular season, playing just eight games while averaging 2.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists. He went on to get sidelined after fracturing his wrist last March and wasn’t able to help the Warriors on their title defense in the playoffs.

If indeed the mysterious word signals that this is it for Iguodala, he will go down as one of the best borderline stars in the league history while boasting his four championship rings, a Finals MVP back in 2015, two All-Defensive selections and a gold medal for both 2012 Olympics and 2010 FIBA World Championships.
