IU basketball to play an exhibition in opposition to Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse on October 11

IU basketball will play an exhibition sport in opposition to Butler at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Sunday, October 11, it was introduced this morning.

As a part of the settlement, Butler will play an exhibition in 2027 in opposition to Indiana at Simon Skjodt Meeting Corridor.

Indiana leads the all-time collection in opposition to Butler 40-15 and final performed the Bulldogs within the Crossroads Basic on December 19, 2020, at Bankers Life Fieldhouse (now Gainbridge Fieldhouse).

It will likely be IU’s first journey to Hinkle Fieldhouse for the reason that season opener in 1993. The Hoosiers misplaced the season opener, 75-71, to Butler on November 27, 1993.
