Boston Faculty star Invoice Donovan, father of Bulls coach, dies

GAINESVILLE, Fla. — Invoice Donovan, the daddy of Chicago Bulls coach Billy Donovan and whose personal basketball exploits propelled him to the Boston Faculty Corridor of Fame, has died. He was 85.

Invoice Donovan died Saturday, in accordance with the obituary posted by Williams-Thomas Funeral House in Gainesville, Florida.

A local of Queens, New York, Donovan captained the Boston Faculty basketball staff and graduated in 1962 because the No. 3 scorer in class historical past. He was a primary lieutenant within the U.S. Military and was married to his highschool sweetheart, Joan, for 63 years.
